Plaintiffs are organizations in 13 states plus D.C. serving domestic violence, sexual assault survivors, LGBTQ+ youth, and unhoused people.

The suit alleges that the brokerages conspired with developers to sell defective homes to the home buyer plaintiffs.

The dismissal of the lawsuit comes after the June 18, 2025 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in United States v. Skrmetti, which upheld a law in Tennessee that is similar to Idaho’s.
