Writer-director Beth de Araújo's second feature stars newcomer Mason Reeves as an 8-year-old girl confronted with very adult fears after witnessing a violent crime.

Channing Tatum, Gemma Chan, Mason Reeves and writer/director Beth de Araújo stopped by the THR Studio at Park City to talk all about their dark family drama 'Josephine.' The film's writer and director opened up about discovering young star Reeves at a farmers' market and how the project was many years in the making for her.

The movie, which also stars Gemma Chan, debuted at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
