Tyler Shough has been a revelation since he became the New Orleans Saints' starting quarterback. The rookie has led the Saints to four wins in his seven starts, including a win in the last three games.
Kamara thus will miss a fifth consecutive contest due to the sprained MCL that he suffered Week 12 against the Falcons. His last chance to play again this season is a Week 18 visit to the Falcons, but the Saints have been out of the playoff picture for some time, so it'd be somewhat of a surprise if Kamara suits up for that contest.
The Saints held a walk-through practice Tuesday in order to give the players a day off for the Christmas holiday. Alvin Kamara was one of five who were not present.
