The Sixers went into a weird afternoon game without Joel Embiid and Paul George on the first leg of a back-to-back and got absolutely smoked by the Charlotte Hornets.

For several reasons, it was easy to imagine the Sixers losing on Monday in Charlotte. But no list of extenuating circumstances can excuse the beatdown they experienced.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have a representative in the game on Feb. 15 in Los Angeles as Tyrese Maxey has been selected as an All-Star starter. The Sixers will also send rookie guard VJ Edgecombe to LA for the Rising Stars Challenge--which is no surprise.

Antetokounmpo left Friday's game with an injury.

New York's big man is one of three players who have been listed as out for the NBA Cup rematch on New Year's Eve. Robinson joins Josh Hart (right ankle sprain) and Landry Shamet (shoulder) as those unavailable for the game.
