Preliminary tests showed that ByHeart baby formula contained the type of bacteria that produces the toxin linked to a botulism outbreak, California health officials said.

The death of an 8-week-old girl in Coplay on Tuesday afternoon is under investigation, according to the Lehigh County coroner.

Lehigh County authorities are investigating the death of an 8-week-old infant, the Lehigh County coroner announced Wednesday. The coroner says the child lived in Coplay. She was pronounced dead at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, according to a news release from the coroner’s office.
