GUNTHER defeated Jey Uso to become a 2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion during Monday’s episode of RAW. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the decision was made by Triple H, who planned for GUNTHER to defend the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.

Jey Uso received a bona fide "WrestleMania Moment" when he defeated Gunther to win the world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 41. Things were not as sweet for Uso on Monday night as he dropped the title back to Gunther in the main event of WWE Raw.

Triple H reportedly made the call to make Jey Uso lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther on this week's WWE Raw. Jey won the title at Wrestlemania 41 and lost it less than two months later.
