Coming into the year, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson Jr. and Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III had been popular choices among the top-10 overall in mock drafts. For different reasons, both of those players are still available for selection on Friday night. Neither is the top prospect available, however.

Johnson 'has a knee issue that has concerned some NFL teams and helps explain why he still has not been selected,' ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

Will Johnson played only six games for Michigan football in 2024. His junior year was marred by injuries: The known ailment was his toe, which kept him off the field in big games against Oregon, Ohio State and Alabama.
