Tuesday is primary day in Virginia. Voters will choose Democratic nominees for lieutenant governor and attorney general as well as some legislative candidates for both parties.
The Republican Party will not hold a statewide primary, as its candidates are running uncontested. All 100 seats in Virginia’s House of Delegates will be up for election this fall. There are eight contested GOP state House primaries, but none are local.
