Drake is suing his record label for spreading a “false and malicious narrative” when it released and promoted Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Amid his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar, Drake has launched a new lawsuit against his label, Universal Music Group, for defamation and harassment.

UMG called Drake’s petition “an apparent effort to pressure” UMG and others “to limit the distribution” of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’.

Dre is a mentor to Kendrick and was a special guest at his ‘Pop Out’ concert in Los Angeles last summer, where he performed many of his tracks that take aim at Drake, and he is a huge fan of his Grammy nominated hit ‘Not Like Us’. The sold-out show broke attendance records for the venue.
