Things are getting back to normal for Rory McIlroy, and it’s anything but routine for this week’s Truist Championship at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Only one tournament stands between players and the second major championship of the season, and it is a big one. The Truist Championship — typically held at next week's venue, Quail Hollow Club — will head up north to the Philadelphia Cricket Club instead and cede the Charlotte grounds to the PGA Championship.

The PGA Tour will play another Signature Event, the Truist Championship, at the Philadelphia Cricket Club Wissahickon Course beginning May 8. It's an old-school A.W. Tillinghast par-70 design that isn't very long and features a wonderful collection of par-3 holes highlighted by the 240-yard 15th.

A witness who recorded video of the chaos said the incident started as a fight. The officer was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in critical but stable condition.
