The Baltimore Ravens released veteran kicker Justin Tucker on Monday after 13 seasons with the team. “Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances,” Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement. “Considering our current roster, we have made the tough decision to release Justin Tucker.

Amid the investigation, the Ravens drafted kicker Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the NFL draft last month. On Sunday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh addressed having both kickers in the locker room and said any decision made "has to be based on football."
