Graham Potter has confirmed Lucas Paqueta is facing another spell on the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury in West Ham training this week. Standard Sport revealed on Tuesday that Paqueta limped out of training ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Areola will be the goalkeeper of the team. Wan-Bissaka and Emerson will be the two full-backs of the team. Mavropanos and Kilman will be the two centre-backs for the team. Alphonse Areola has conceded 27 goals and kept 2 clean sheets in 14 matches in the Premier League 2024/2025 season.

Lucas Paqueta has suffered a fresh ankle injury during West Ham training. It remains unclear how severe the injury is but Standard Sport understands Paqueta appeared devastated as he withdrew early from a training session at the London Stadium on Tuesday. Paqueta will now be assessed by the club’s medical staff.

The 27-year-old withdrew from the session on Tuesday, February 18 as a precaution and will be closely monitored by the club's medical team.

West Ham already had a few injury concerns in attacking areas, with Michail Antonio, Crysencio Summerville, and Niclas Fullkrug also ruled out of the Arsenal game. Defensively, West Ham are expected to be without Vladimir Coufal. West Ham are unlikely to get much sympathy from Arsenal, considering the Gunners have a very similar list of injuries.
