Spinach and mixed leaves products are being recalled due to the detection of listeriosis in the Republic of Ireland. The seven products are produced by McCormack Family Farms.
The Food and Drug Administration has closed an investigation into a listeria outbreak that killed one person and sickened 10 in several western states, health officials announced Thursday.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is seeking to reassure the public following another round of recalls issued today due to Listeria fears. Earlier today, the FSAI ordered a number of popular salad products pulled from shelves at Irish supermarkets.
