For over 100 years, Mercedes-Benz has been home to giant grilles. The faces of its cars wore metal masks that allowed their engines to breathe for generations before grille sizes shrank as aerodynamics became the name of the game. Now, they're returning.

Following a teaser video released last month featuring Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius, Mercedes-Benz gave yet another sneak preview of the upcoming electric Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology ahead of its Munich motor show debut.

With the next-gen GLC crossover, which will be fully electric and sit alongside the existing gas-powered GLC, Mercedes is going back to its design roots.
