With Oliver feeling healthy once again, the Packers finally opened his 21-day practice window to return from PUP on Dec. 1. While the Packers are keeping expectations modest for Oliver after missing so much time, Head Coach Matt LaFleur told reporters on Tuesday Oliver's "early showings are promising."

Micah Parsons was selected to a fifth straight Pro Bowl to start his career, his first with the Packers. Parsons made NFL history with his 12.5 sacks.

The Bears won at Lambeau Field in last year's finale to snap an 11-game losing streak against the Packers. On Saturday, they beat Green Bay at home for the first time since 2018. A longtime Green Bay sports bar has announced it will close its doors at the end of the Green Bay Packers season. According to a post on social media, Burkel’s Sports Bar & Grill has been sold and will close once the Packers’ season concludes.

Six of the seven playoff spots in the NFC are essentially spoken for. Three NFC West teams – the Seahawks, Rams and 49ers – plus the NFC East champ Eagles and NFC North-leading Bears have all clinched postseason berths, with seeding still TBD. Meanwhile the NFC South champ, either the Panthers or Buccaneers, will likely get the No. 4 seed.
