International visitors will soon have to pay an added surcharge to visit Yellowstone, Yosemite and other iconic U.S. national parks.

Currently, all national park visitors are subject to the same entry fee structure, but the Trump administration wants to charge foreign tourists more.

Nonetheless, Trump’s order calls for efforts to increase visitor capacity at America’s national parks, invest in infrastructure at the sites, and improve park access to American families by ensuring they “receive priority access in any permitting or reservation systems.”
