Jay Monahan is leaving the PGA Tour next year after a decade that ends with a sport fractured by the Saudi riches of LIV Golf. He turns it over to top NFL executive Brian Rolapp.

The PGA Tour will undergo a change in leadership over the next year that has the approval of legendary golfer Tiger Woods.

Brian Rolapp, one of the architects of the NFL’s rise to dominance as a media property, has segued to the non-contact sport of golf as CEO of the PGA Tour. The former Chief Media and Business Officer of the NFL will replace onetime IMG exec Jay Monahan in the role.
