Xander Schauffele is scheduled to return to the Arnold Palmer Invitational as part of a star-studded field. The world No. 2 hasn’t competed on the PGA Tour since the season-opening Sentry in early January or in a TGL event citing a rib injury.

The API field was released late Friday afternoon and 47 of the top-50 players on the world rankings have committed. The only absences are two players on the LIV Golf League, No. 8 Tyrrell Hatton and No. 11 Bryson DeChambeau, and No. 45 Rasmus Hojgaard, who is not eligible for the event.
