Police investigating the murder of an InfoWars reporter in Austin this week said he was likely the victim of a random car burglary attempt gone wrong. That hasn't stopped InfoWars founder Alex Jones from doing what he does best: peddling conspiracy theories.

Jamie White, 36, was fatally shot in a parking lot in Austin, Texas, police said. Alex Jones said the killing "could've been a hit."

On his show Monday, Jones said the staff member, 36-year-old Jamie White, was “brutally murdered” outside his home, a few miles from the Infowars office. Austin police later confirmed White was shot and killed outside the Chandelier Apartments.
