Wiggins is the 12th portal transfer for South Alabama in the current cycle, and third offensive lineman. The Jaguars have also added senior Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and sophomore Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky) since the end of the 2024 season.

Former Alabama tight end Amari Niblack has re-entered the transfer portal after spending one season at Texas.  Niblack began his college career at Alabama.

A few pieces are locked in with LT Overton, Justin Jefferson, Domani Jackson and Deontae Lawson each returning for the 2025 season. After one season with Alabama football, defensive back King Mack is heading back where he came from. Mack, who entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season, announced Sunday that he is returning to Penn State. Mack began his college career with the Nittany Lions, spending one season in State College before giving Tuscaloosa a try.

Reinforcements are coming along Western Michigan’s offensive line. Zach Vaughan is the latest to transfer to WMU, as the Broncos announced the addition of the former Wake Forest offensive lineman through the NCAA transfer portal –– the fourth offensive lineman to land with WMU football in the winter portal.

The Michigan football team lost offensive lineman Jeff Persi to the transfer portal on Wednesday. Persi has been with the Wolverines since the 2020 season and was a graduate student during the 2024 year.
