Denver Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders sustained what appears to be a potentially serious lower-leg injury Saturday in training camp. The former third-round pick had his career trajectory halted last spring when he tore his Achilles tendon and missed nearly all of the 2024 season.

The pads come on Monday, but Saturday featured a couple of really nice pass-rush moves from what should be a disruptive defensive front.

Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton is the only coach in the NFL with an endorsement deal with Michael Jordan, and after Surtain won the Defensive Player of the Year award last season, Payton told his star cornerback it was time to get PS2 a Jordan deal of his own.
